This past summer, our youth attended PASSPORT Choices in Wingate, NC. They spent the week learning about Life Together, and the importance of community. A significant part of camp each year is the Mission emphasis. Throughout the week the youth learned about the Water Crisis and what the organization Watering Malawi is doing to help.
Watering Malawi is a grass roots organization founded by Colleen Burroughs, PASSPORT’s vice-president. They are working to help solve the Water Crisis in Malawi by installing wells in villages, putting hand washing stations in schools, creating irrigation systems, and using other innovative solutions to help make CLEAN water more accessible.
