Around the table, we end up sharing more than just a meal!
What brings them back is a full stomach and a satisfied soul. It is that sense of being home that we feel around the kitchen table, and the communion table, feeling at home in God’s presence.
Tables are sacred places in our lives and in our faith. Just think of everything that happens around a table. We find the bonds of family, the making of friends, the stories we tell, the questions we ask, the prayers we say, the laughter we enjoy, and the grief we experience.
We can simply embrace humility because the love of God simply embraces us.
