How has God captivated your sense of wonder lately?
In this world, we can either construct a dam or build a bridge. We can try to get the water to pool in one place for our benefit, or we can reach out and create connections with others. And the Epiphany of the Lord calls us to build bridges.
We find our center by serving others, leaning into the love of neighbor, because our lives are identified with Christ.
God is our light, showing us the way. The light of Christ is like the star in the sky the Magi, or Wise Men, followed all the way to Bethlehem.
It is an extension of the love of God we have received given back, blessed twice, as the love of neighbor.
The inherent gift in front of us in any new beginning, whether it is a new year, new semester, or new week, as we gather on the first day of the week every week on the Lord’s Day, is the chance to go home by another road.
